Based in Belfast, NextGen Grid Consulting aims to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future by leveraging over 20 years of technical expertise in electricity grid systems. They are committed to reducing carbon emissions, supporting renewable energy integration, and enabling our clients to align with ambitious government targets for 2030 and 2050.
The Brief:
Next Gen Grid Consulting approached us as a new company entering the energy and sustainability sector. Their goal was to establish a strong, future-focused brand identity that communicated innovation, expertise, and reliability within the evolving energy landscape. They needed a logo and visual system that would appeal to corporate partners, investors, and government clients—while standing out as modern and tech-driven.
Our Approach:
We began by exploring the brand’s core values—innovation, connection, and transformation. These principles guided the creative direction and design language. The concept centred around the idea of “next generation connectivity”—symbolising the links between technology, people, and clean energy.
Through typography, colour, and form, we aimed to balance professionalism with forward-thinking creativity. The final logo mark represents both the flow of energy and a connected grid, visually suggesting movement and progress.
We paired this with a clean, modern typeface and a colour palette of variation of blues—reflecting both trust and sustainability.
The Result:
The new brand identity positions Next Gen Grid Consulting as a confident, contemporary player in the energy consultancy space. The logo is adaptable across digital and print formats, ensuring consistency in presentations, proposals, and online platforms.
